読んでみた感想

１９９２年１月２８日
Almost all sannyyasins come to India with tourist visas. The term of the tourist visa is six month. So we must return to our countries with in six month. Otherwise we must go out of India and get a new visa at an embassy of India.

Recently the swimming pool was opened in the Ashram. Some of my friends went to the swimming pool. They say the water of the swimming pool is cold. So I didn't go to the swimming pool and went to the sauna. But an information clerk said to me, "The sauna will open a few days from now." I am going to the sauna a week later.

I acted as an interpreter for Veda and Yuti. Yuti is a therapist. Veda wants to attend "Transformation Intensive". And the course requres pre-interview. She can't speak English. I could understand almost all of what Yuti said.

But I could not understand her perfectly. So I used the phrase-"I beg your perdon"-twice. When we Japanese people use the phrase, we feelbad. We are afraid of useing the phrase. It is because Europian people stop conversation if we use the phrase three times! So we don't want use the phrase as far as we can.

Veda is twenty seven years old. Herhusband Homen is sixty two years old. They don't look like a married couple. They look like a grandfather and grandchild!

When I came back to my room, the electric current was off. So I dropped a bottle of Nescafe and broke it! While I was cleaning the floor, Tatheen visted me. He said to me, "Shall we go to the Center street? " We went the Center Street and ate shikh Kababs.

　While I was eating lunch at MADHUBAN, a man spoke to me. He said to me,"Where are you from?" L replid,"I am from Japan." "And where are you from?" I asked. He replied,"I am from Iran How long are you staying in India?"

I said, "I'm staying in India for about four month." He seemed to be surprised and said, "Are you a student or a priest?" I said,"No I am neither. I go to the Rajneesh Ashram. Do you the Ashram?" He said,"I don't know it." He was a tourist. He is a businessman and sells carpets.

After the English lesson, I went shopping to M.G road. I bought a pair of canvas shoes and a pair of socks. In India I think almost everything is cheap. But I think several thing are expensive. Socks are one of expensive things. I think the following things are expensive. Beer,Coca cola,toilet paper, socks, noodles.
